Daniel Craig has slammed the Kardashians and other celebrities who sell their privacy for fame.
The James Bond actor, who recently married actress Rachel Weisz in a secret ceremony, said that the reason he doesnÂ’t talk about his private life is because itÂ’s "precious" and "worth more than money".
He told GQ magazine:
"ItÂ’s not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for; but if you sell it off, itÂ’s gone. ItÂ’s precious. ItÂ’s worth more than money.
"If you sell it for money, which is what it amounts to - maybe that sounds a bit dramatic, but thatÂ’s essentially how i see it - then itÂ’s gone. You canÂ’t buy it back. You canÂ’t buy your privacy back."
He continued, citing Kim and her family as examples:
"Look at the Kardashians, theyÂ’re worth millions. Millions! I donÂ’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them.
"You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it. Well, I am, obviously."
He also briefly opened up about his relationship with his wife, saying:
"Look. IÂ’m in love. IÂ’m very happy. And that is how far IÂ’m prepared to go."
Skyfall, CraigÂ’s third outing as Bond, will be released November 9, 2012.
