Pop Idol's Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell, is on the verge of splitting with girlfriend Terri Seymour.

The News of the World reports that the pop mogul and his lady have had a series of bust-ups at their Beverly Hills home, because she is convinced he is cheating on her.

Insiders claim that 30-year-old Seymour is driving Simon crazy by bombarding him with a barrage of phone calls demanding to know where he is at all times. They are worried that her jealousy will drive him away.

Cowell has not helped his girlfriend's paranoia, having recently announced that he has bedded more than 100 women and claiming that he is not prepared to make any long-term commitments.

The couple have been together since 2002, after the X-Factor judge seduced Terri during a modelling shoot.
