Delays to flights are the most common travel gripe - but Coventry Building Society has reminded holidaymakers that it is there to help.
Highlighted by last week's air traffic control computer failure, which grounded planes across the UK, Coventry has today pointed to a recent poll that found 53 per cent of sojourners have suffered flight delays.
The next biggest gripe - according to the building society - is stolen money or travellers cheques, which affects 20 per cent of holidaymakers.
Coventry pointed out that their travel policy gives compensation for delayed departure. Travellers cheques can be replaced anywhere in the world - usually within 24 hours - the building society adds.
