Teen pregnancy storyline set to shock The Street...

Coronation Street's Chesney may have joined the soap as a nine-year-old but he is going to have to grow up fast in this latest storyline.

According to reports, the 16-year-old is about to become a father in a new teen pregnancy plot.

His on-screen girlfriend Katy will fall pregnant in a storyline to be aired from April.

She tries to tell a clueless Chesney, played by Sam Aston, by dropping hints and even showing him a positive pregnancy test, before coming clean, saying:

"I'm pregnant. We're going to have a baby."

Chesney is set to be ecstatic and wells up, according to the News of the World, before stating how lucky he is and that this is all he ever wanted.
