Corrie love rat's lies exposed

Coronation Street love rat Dev Alahan is publically humiliated when his furious partner exposes his naked body on a giant poster in public.

Tara Mandal, played by former Bollywood actress Ayesha Dharker, unveils a 30ft high photograph of Dev with only the spray-painted word "Liar" to hide his modesty.

But what makes it worse for the cheating shopkeeper is that Tara does it to him when he proposes to her in front of the whole Street.

A soap insider told The Daily Star: "She's halfway through making a speech when Dev comes on stage and tells her he wants to marry her.

"Tara realises she's gone too far but there's no going back and she reveals a giant naked photograph of Dev. It's one of those classic Corrie moments."

Tara, who owns an art gallery, has been plotting her revenge ever since she found out about Dev's (Jimmi Harkishin) one-night fling with Lisa (Ruth Alexander-Rubin).

Viewers can catch the scenes on ITV1 tonight.
