Shianne Phillips, an X Factor contestant, claim that the show is fixed after he was booted off during auditions. Singing Whitney Houston’s powerful song I Have Nothing, she received a No vote from both Simon Cowell and Rita Ora despite the wowing the crowd during Saturday’s show.
Now, the 24-year-old claims that the producer forced her to sing the tricky song, that Simon was “rude” and that Rita offended her by saying she looked like Pocahontas.
Speaking after the show was aired, she said: "You just know something's not right. Even if I didn't get in, that's fine - I wasn't what they were looking for. But it didn't feel right.
"I thought Simon was very rude. From the second I walked out he didn't even look at me. Cheryl and Nick seem to be very much what they're like on TV. Rita and Simon seem very different."
Meanwhile, an X Factor spokesperson said: "Everyone who auditions in front of the judges is asked to choose 5 different songs that they'd be happy to perform and one of Shianne's choices was Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing.
"We categorically refute any suggestion that Shianne’s performance was distorted in any way and would like to point out that we have had no complaints from Shianne directly to the show following the audition about any of the judges’ comments, all of which were as seen on screen."
