George Clooney has appealed to President George Bush to help stop the war in Sudan.
The 'Ocean's Eleven' star addressed America's National Press Club to urge the current US government to take more action, and offer aid, in the war-torn region of Darfur.
The Oscar-winning actor was joined by two US senators as he opened his heart about the atrocities he witnessed during his last visit to the area.
Clooney, who also showed video footage he had recorded during his visit, has always been a supporter of charities supporting impoverished Africans.
The 45-year-old actor was a vocal advocate for Africa for the 2005 campaign 'ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History'.
This weekend, Clooney is set to take part in the 'Save Darfur' online rally, in Washington, to draw attention to the genocide taking place in the country.
