George Clooney was left red-faced when he first moved to Hollywood because he didn't realise the women hitting on him were prostitutes.
The actor was blown away by all the female attention he received when his actor cousin Miguel Ferrer showed him around Tinseltown.
When Ferrer - who has starred in a host of films, including 'RoboCop', and 'The Manchurian Candidate' - took Clooney to see the sights of the city a group of 15 women approached the two actors and asked them if they wanted to "party".
Clooney was flattered at first but his ego boost was short-lived.
He told Vanity Fair magazine: "We stopped right in front of the old SAG building. And there used to be tons of hookers there - like 15 on that night in particular. I'd never seen a hooker in my life, coming from Kentucky, and all these girls came up to the car and were like, 'Baby, want to party? You want to party with me?' And I was like, 'Girls love me, man! I'm on fire in this town! I should have come here a long time ago! Chicks dig me!' And Miguel goes, 'They're hookers, you idiot'."
