George Clooney is jetting to Scotland to the G8 summit - thanks to friend Brad Pitt.
The 'Ocean's Twelve' star has reportedly arranged to meet world leaders to discuss world poverty after Brad urged him to.
The actor will also meet up with fellow celebrities, including Sir Bob Geldof and U2 frontman Bono, who are both part of the force behind this weekend's Live 8 charity concerts to raise awareness.
George revealed: "I am going to Scotland to the G8 summit.
"We're working on the Make Poverty History campaign to try and get members of G8 to throw a little more money towards Africa."
The sexy star, who is also trying to arrange a one-to-one meeting with Britain's Prime Minister, Tony Blair, said he regretted taking so long to get involved in the cause.
He admitted 'Mr and Mrs Smith' star Brad convinced him to be part of the campaign, adding: "I haven't been involved as long as I should. I came to it much later than most of my friends."
Clooney is believed to be later teaming up with Pitt at the London Live 8 concert in Hyde Park, according to American magazine US Weekly.
Pitt was originally slated to co-present at the Live 8 show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
