George Clooney has undergone back surgery.
The Hollywood heartthrob was operated on by surgeons after they discovered fluid was leaking out of his spinal column.
The discovery came after Clooney had surgery on his neck last month and complained of suffering from severe headaches,
Medics performed 'spinal cap' surgery and the actor is now said to be on his way to a full recovery.
The 43-year-old star injured his back during a shoot for his forthcoming movie, 'Syriana', and, according to his publicist, Stan Rosenfield, he complained about "having horrible headaches" soon afterwards.
Rosenfield told America's New York Post newspaper: "He was getting tests and the doctors were saying, 'There's nothing wrong with you,' but he was having horrible headaches."
When he first sustained the injury, Clooney was forced to pull out of a number of TV appearances to promote 'Ocean's Twelve', which also starred Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones.
In 'Syriana', Clooney had to gain over 30lbs to play former CIA agent Robert Baer.
