George Clooney thrilled fans when he filmed scenes from his new movie at a New York jail yesterday (15.02.06).
The Hollywood heartthrob made time to meet and chat with prison personnel as he shot latest project 'Michael Clayton' at the city's Queens House of Detention.
One officer said: "He was a perfect gentleman.
"He asked me how I liked my job and I said, 'Fine, but I'd trade with you any day'."
Another joked: "I just want him to call my wife for Valentine's Day."
It isn't the first time the 'Syriana' star has been behind bars.
The actor has filmed several prison scenes throughout his career.
He is quoted by America's New York Daily News newspaper as saying: "I've done a lot of films in prisons. I did one in Louisiana state prison Angola, I did one in Rahway [a state prison in New Jersey.]
"They're all the worst possible scenes, don't you think?"
