Chiles gets 'quickie' divorce

Adrian Chiles was granted a 'quickie' divorce on Tuesday – the decision was reportedly reached in 83 seconds at the High Court.

Chiles, best known for presenting 'The One Show' , was spotted strolling with his smiling co-star Christine Bleakley just hours before the legal result was reached.

Neither Chiles, 42, nor Radio 4 'Woman's Hour' broadcaster wife Jane Garvey, 45, attended the 83-second High Court hearing.

Chiles is set to lose a significant sum from his fortune, said to be worth around £4million, after grounds of his unreasonable behaviour emerged as the reason behind the split.

It has long been rumoured that Chiles and Bleakley have been romantically involved since she joined the BBC show in August 2007.

Chiles is thought to be sharing custody of daughters - Evelyn, eight, and Sian, five - with Garvey.

Garvey and the children are said to be staying in the ex-couple's £1.3million five-bedroom family home in Shepherd's Bush.

Chiles is one of the highest paid stars at the BBC, on a £1million-a-year deal.

In addition to 'The One Show', he has presented 'BBC Sports Personality of the Year', 'Match of the Day 2' and the 'Apprentice' spin-off 'You're Fired!'
