Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have asked an African chief to name their unborn baby.
The Hollywood couple - who are in Namibia while they await the birth of their first biological child - have asked governor Samuel Nuuyoma to pick a name for their child.
They approached him at a dinner in Erongo, several weeks ago.
He is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "When she goes to the hospital, as the father of the region, I will be informed and I will go there.
"I will announce the good news and I will be naming the baby."
He added the couple - who have two adopted children, four-year-old Maddox and baby Zahara - are "good people, peace-minded and ready to help".
Meanwhile, Brad has revealed Angelina is due to give birth imminently.
The actor issued a statement yesterday to explain why he was not attending the Cannes Film Festival, where his movie 'Babel' is premiering.
It said: "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I'm unable to join Alejandro (Gonzalez Innaritu), Cate (Blanchett) and Gael Garcia Bernal and the rest of the cast and crew in introducing the film."
