Cheryl Cole has been given another chance at US success, after landing a cameo part in a Hollywood film.

The Daily Mail claims that the former X Factor host has all but secured the part in pregnancy focused comedy, What to Expect When YouÂ’re Expecting.

The all-star cast includes Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock and Matthew Morrison.

According to the publication, the Girls Aloud singer will play a reality TV talent show judge who stars on a show that Jules, played by Cameron Diaz, auditions for.

But music fans shouldnÂ’t worry, as a source tells the newspaper that this doesnÂ’t mean that Cheryl is becoming an actress:

"This is a bit of fun for Cheryl. She will film the scenes imminently and is really looking forward to it.

"It doesn’t mean she suddenly wants to become an actress. It was just an opportunity that has come up while she has been having some down time and she thought it would be great fun to take part.”

Cheryl has rarely been seen in public since sensationally being given the axe from her coveted role as a judge on the US X Factor earlier this year.
