Cheryl Cole confirms she married partner of three months over the weekend

Cheryl Cole has secretly married her boyfriend of three months in a beach ceremony over the weekend.

Cheryl Cole has announced that she married her French boyfriend after a three-month whirlwind romance. They tied the knot over the weekend in a beach ceremony.

The X Factor judge said that the reason for her announcement is to stop speculation over the relationship. The message was posted with a picture of her huge engagement ring and a diamond encrusted wedding band.

The singer and 33-year-old Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini reportedly exchanged “I do’s” in front of just four witnesses.

Cheryl, 31, said:  ‘I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news. Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.’

A source told The Sun: ‘Only a handful of people knew. She’s never been so happy.’
The source added: ‘Cheryl’s madly in love and had no fear about taking the plunge. She’s delighted he’s her new husband and wants to have his babies. It’s a beautiful thing. She’s on cloud nine right now.’
