Charlotte Church is giving up singing to focus on her TV career.
The Welsh singer is taking a year off from music because her Channel 4 chat show has been commissioned for two more series.
Charlotte, 20, said: "I'm taking a year out from recording to concentrate on the show so it's even better next year."
The 'Crazy Chick' singer - who shot to fame when she was just 12 with her powerful, operatic voice - has managed to keep two million viewers in the ratings battle against BBC's popular chat show host Jonathan Ross.
On tonight's show (06.10.06) Charlotte's guests include Liza Minnelli, Rupert Everett and former 'EastEnders' star John Altman, who played 'Nasty' Nick Cotton.
Charlotte, who lives with Welsh rugby ace Gavin Henson, sings the theme song to the show which features interviews, comedy sketches and musical performances with the guests.
