Following the withdrawal of model Emma B from I'm A Celebrity, the actor who found fame as Huggy Bear has been drafted in.
Antonio Fargas starred in the original 1970s version of Starsky and Hutch - and has been drafted in at short notice, despite never having seen the reality TV show.
The latest series of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here starts on Sunday and Fargas was convinced to appear by David Soul (Hutch), who lives in London and has recently become a British citizen.
"David thought Antonio would be perfect for the show. He's quick-witted, sharp and very very funny," an insider told the Daily Star today.
"Lots of young viewers won't have a clue who he is... but they will soon find out," the source added.
Emma B's boyfriend, Brian Harvey, was set to travel to the Australian jungle with Emma - as half of the show's first ever pre-made couple, but will now head down under alone.
