Katie Price has been given a six-month driving ban after she was caught speeding in her Land Rover.

The star, formerly known as Jordan, was fined £1,000 and given three points after she broke the speed limit in December of last year.

This took her over the 12-point limit, giving her an automatic six-month ban.

Mother-of-three Katie's lawyer said that she had been trying to escape photographers when she was caught by a mobile speed camera.

The judge replied, saying: "That goes with the territory doesn't it. If you court publicity, you can't complain when you get it."

This is Price's third driving conviction this year. Before this hearing, she had already accumulated ten points on her licence and more than £2,000 in fines.
