Charlotte Church is "over the moon" after fellow Welsh star Catherine Zeta-Jones offered her a role in her movie.
The screen beauty, who is married to Hollywood actor Michael Douglas, had already asked the pop babe to sing the theme song to 'Coming Home' - about a struggling rugby team - but now also wants her to have a cameo role in the film.
An insider is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Catherine sees Charlotte as a younger version of herself.
"She thinks she's incredibly talented."
It won't be Charlotte's first time appearing on the big-screen.
The 19-year-old beauty made her acting debut in the feature film 'I'll Be There' in 2003 - but vowed never to make another movie because her performance was so "dreadful".
She confessed at the time: "I won't be doing any more films. I think I was quite dreadful.
"I watched it and I thought, 'Stick to singing, girl, stick to singing.'"
