Paul Burrell once found the Queen trying on her crown in her room while wearing a pair of pink fluffy slippers.
The former royal butler has already started spilling the beans of his life with the Windsors after only a few days in the I'm a Celebrity jungle.
Walking through the bush with comic Joe Pasquale, he said: "I caught her once in her sitting room wearing the imperial crown."
Joe squeaked: "No, you never."
The man who made a fortune out of selling Princess Di's possessions and telling all about the royals went on: "She was practising wearing it for the opening of parliament... she was sat with her crown on and her pink, fluffy slippers."
The pair were searching for the day's Celebrity Chest when they had the tete-a-tete but the conversation was cut short when Joe fell down a camouflaged hole in the ground.
Joe said they were "like Laurel and Hardy" and later the ex-royal servant said he knew from the start that the pair would be pals. He said: "We'll be friends when I leave here."
According to the Sun newspaper, staff at Buckingham Palace flooded the programme's hotline to try and make things worse for Burrell in revenge for leaking royal secrets.
"Everyone wants to see him squirm. The worse the ordeal, the better. All the staff are wondering if a call has been made from one of the private apartments to the show," one staff member said.
