The nominees for the Brit awards 2011 have been announced, with rapper Tinie Tempah leading the way when it comes to awards.
The 22-year-old is up for best British male, best breakthrough act, best single for Pass Out and album of the year for Disc-Overy.
It was also revealed that comedian James Corden will host the event, which will be held in February.
Other nominees included rapper Plan B, folk band Mumford and Sons and The XX, who are all up for three prizes.
Tinie Tempah's Disc-Overy will compete against the artists for the title of best album.
Robert Plant, Mark Ronson and Paul Weller are also in the best male category alongside Tempah.
Cheryl Cole, Ellie Goulding, Laura Marling, Paloma Faith and Rumer will battle it out for the best female award.
The Awards will be broadcast live on 15 February from the O2 arena in London.
Dame Vivienne Westwood has been called upon to design a new version of the Brit Award for the show.
