Brothers Richard and Adam Johnson may not have finished number one in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent but they debuted No.1 album with The Impossible Dream. They beat X Factor runner-up Jahmene Douglas to two with Love Never Fails.
Talking to The Official Charts company, Richard said that being number one is unbelievable. He added: "It's a dream come true to have an album out, but to be in the position to go home and tell Nan and Mum and Dad we're actually number one is incredible!"
Meanwhile, Adam said it was amazing. "You've made us happy, and you've made our nan extremely happy, so thank you to each and everyone of you who's bought the album!"
The brothers’ debut features their rendition of tracks, including ‘Unchained Melody’, ‘The Power of Love’, ‘Amazing Grace’, and ‘Ave Mania’.
The other performers who made it to top five are Passenger’s All The Little Lights, Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, and Rod Stewart’s Time.
