Brad Pitt banned British and American reporters from the Tokyo premiere of 'Ocean's Twelve' - because he didn't want to discuss his split from Jennifer Aniston.
The Hollywood heartthrob, who announced his separation from the former 'Friends' beauty last week after four years of marriage, only allowed local journalists to ask him questions, which had to be directly related to the movie.
It was Brad's first public appearance since the split and he wasn't prepared to discuss his personal life.
Cart Common, who covered the news conference for a Japanese radio station, wasn't surprised at the ban.
He said: "The foreign press sometimes are really direct about personal things."
Brad, 41, has refused to discuss his marriage ever since arriving in Japan earlier this week with his 'Ocean's Twelve' co-stars George Clooney and Matt Damon.
Brad and Jennifer, who married in July 2000, announced last Friday (14.01.04) they were separating after much "thoughtful consideration" but pledged to remain "committed and caring friends".
