Blanchett's schoolboy seduction

Cate Blanchett is looking for a schoolboy to seduce in a forthcoming movie.

The sexy star will play a school teacher who has a steamy affair with a London pupil in a screen adaptation of raunchy novel 'Notes on a Scandal'.

Movie bosses from Fox Searchlight Pictures are auditioning lucky London teenagers later this month for a unique movie role opposite the screen beauty.

Top director Sir Richard Eyre has said he wants a "real London boy" for the part.

Earlier this year, the Oscar-winning actress admitted she developed a kissing obsession after her father died when she was just 10-years-old.

Blanchett says she blamed herself for his death because she didn't kiss her dad goodbye when he left home on the morning of his fatal heart attack.

She said: "I used to want to kiss everyone. I was playing the piano, and he waved goodbye, but I didn't kiss him.

"I was so obsessed for about five years afterwards that I had to kiss everyone in the family goodbye, even if I was just going next door to the shops just in case something happened."
