Davina McCall will return to our screens tonight as Big Brother six kicks off with the most eclectic collection of housemates yet.
Eleven of the 13 contestants are single, increasing the chances that there will be some romance or at least some serious flirting in the BB house.
Two are gay and two are bisexual, while three contestants are foreign, one is a former paratrooper and one was a professional windsurfer.
And one housemate told producers she has just had a boob job, which she will be no doubt keen to put on display.
Channel 4 bosses have also promised to include a well-known person who has a high-profile job, although they insist that he or she is not a celebrity.
"It's a big teaser to keep everyone guessing until the last minute," a Channel 4 spokeswoman told the Daily Star.
The new housemates' jobs range from a dancer, a nurse, an Italian teacher and a hairdresser to a hippy student and a City slicker - and possibly even a witch.
BB six is set to be the longest ever show at 11 weeks, with the winner scooping a 100,000 prize.
And life in the house is set to be tougher than ever as the installation of transparent glass walls ensures the contestants are denied any privacy.
Garden gnomes fitted with spy cameras will record the mumblings of contestants who misbehave and are sent out to the garden in disgrace, Supernanny style.
And heat-seeking cameras have also been installed in the bedroom so not even sub-duvet action escapes the viewers' eagle eyes.
