BHS brand will be re-launch as an online shop and will employ just 84 people.

The collapsed retailer BHS is going to be re-launched as an online shop. The company, which used to be staffed by 11,000 employees, will only hire 84 for the re-launch.

 

BHS.com, which is owned by the Qatari Al Mana Group, will go live in the UK on Thursday.

 

David Anderson, the managing director of the new online operation, said: "We are nimble and efficient, but with a great brand, strong customer base and a proven and dedicated team,"

 

BHS.com will sell about 75per cent of the items available on the former online shop, including bedroom, bathroom, cushion and lighting ranges.
