Beyoncs publicist has called rumours that the singer is faking her pregnancy "foolish".
The rumours began to circulate following an appearance on Australian talk show Sunday Night, where the singers bump appeared to collapse inwardly as she sits down on a chair.
A video of the supposed incident went viral and made headlines around the world, with suggestions that the singer was exaggerating the size of her bump to throw off the press about her actual due date.
There were even allegations that the she was wearing a prosthetic bump and a surrogate was carrying her child.
The claims are all the stranger given Beyonce was pictured in a bikini last month, very much with bump.
The video comes just days after the couple announced that the due date for their first child as February 2012.
The star recently spoke to Harpers Bazaar about revealing her pregnancy, saying:
"I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to unveil it. It was important to me that I was able to do it myself.
"I was extremely nervous. It was the toughest red carpet I ever did... I decided to say nothing and proudly show my baby bump. I felt it was more powerful to see the love and enthusiasm as opposed to saying anything."
The singer also announced that she will be launching her own maternity line after being inspired by her pregnancy.
