Beyonce's bar mitzvah bash

Beyonce Knowles performed at a £4million bar mitzvah party for the 13-year-old son of a tycoon this weekend.

The 'Bootylicious' singer and her chart-topping group, Destiny's Child, were reportedly paid a staggering £1.2million by British retail billionaire Philip Green.

The beautiful trio were flown to the star-studded event in the south of France on Saturday (14.05.05) by private jet.

Heartthrob singer Justin Timberlake was also expected to perform at the three-day celebration for Brandon Green at the luxury Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat in Nice.

Philip Green, who chartered a plane for all 200 guests, is no stranger to hiring top stars to perform at his parties.

For his 50th birthday two years ago he threw a lavish three-day toga party in Cyprus where Rod Stewart and Tom Jones entertained guests.

Earlier this year, Beyonce hinted Destiny's Child could be splitting up for good.

The sexy star, who has forged a successful solo career outside the band, said their last album was probably their last.

She confessed: "Maybe in five years we'll do another record, maybe not. We could do a reunion but we can't be 40 doing 'Bootylicious'." (c) BANG Media International
