The mystery Big Brother contestant who claimed she was raped in a hotel room has revealed herself to be Lesley Sanderson, who appeared on the reality TV show earlier this year.

Lesley, who famously arrived on the show wearing a PVC nurse outfit, has spoken out, claiming that Big Brother has made her life a misery.

"I can honestly say Big Brother ruined my life. I wish I'd never done it," she told the Sun.

The reality TV celeb ignored her right to remain anonymous in order to speak out about her ordeal since appearing on the nation's screens, and has given details of the events preceding the alleged rape.

She claimed that she had met the alleged rapist twice before the incident in a Leeds hotel, and that he had acted as "the perfect gentleman" previously.

Lesley said that she has been verbally and physically abused by members of the public since appearing on Big Brother, and she partly blames the show itself.

"They made me out to be a wicked witch on the programme and edited it unfairly so I looked really bad," she said.

"Now, after what has happened, I'm struggling to cope."
