Sherlock, The Only Way is Essex and Eastenders were among the big winners at this year's BAFTA television awards.
ITV2's surprise smash hit, The Only Way is Essex, picked up the YouTube Audience Award at the end of the evening, beating BBC One's Sherlock, drama The Killing and Channel 4's Big Fat Gypsy Weddings.
Eastenders won the battle of the soaps, taking home the Continuing Drama prize, ahead of Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Casualty.
Sherlock bagged the Best Drama title, while its star Martin Freeman won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role as Dr Watson.
The Best Actor gong was awarded to Daniel Rigby for his portrayal of a young Eric Morecambe in Eric and Ernie, triumphing over more mainstream performances from Doctor Who's Matt Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock.
Vicky McClure earned the Best Actress prize for her role as Lol in Channel 4 programme, This Is England.
Veteran newscaster Sir Trevor McDonald was presented with the Academy Fellowship for his "outstanding and exceptional contribution" to the medium.
The ceremony was hosted by Graham Norton, who also triumphed at the event, winning Best Entertainment Performance for The Graham Norton Show.
