25-year-old Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner was arrested yesterday after the door of the gym was kicked and after a window was smashed at his luxury apartment block.
Reports say that the police cautioned him after he came back from training yesterday.
Meanwhile, CCTV footage shows people at an outside door to the flats just after 1am. Inside the reception area where another camera is installed, it showed a man going through a smashed window and trying to kick open the locked door to the gym.
One resident said: “I could hear people smashing the doors. I shouted for them to stop but a man yelled abuse at me.
“You could hear the door being smashed time and time again.”
A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire police said: “A 25-year-old man from Bushey has been cautioned for criminal damage.
“He was released and is no longer in custody.”
This is not the first time that the 25-year-old player was cautioned by the police. In May 2009, he was fined £5,000 for speeding at 103mph in 2012 while on loan at Sunderland. Later that year, he was banned for driving without a license or insurance.
