Finally, once you have rented your car it is nice to know some of the road rules.  In Thailand they drive on the left hand side of the road and it is compulsory only for drivers and front-seat passengers to wear a seat-belt.

 

City speed limits are usually 30 to 37mph and express-ways and other major roads can reach 55 to 75mph. All drivers are legally required to have third-party insurance as a minimum, but it is still a good idea to take out comprehensive insurance when travelling.
