Anthony has won a date with Big Brother after becoming the 2000th entrant into the famous diary room.

After he struck lucky during a routine visit to secluded spot for a chat, housemate Anthony was given a sash and tiara to don and told he would be sharing a romantic dinner for two with his elusive host.

"I've won a date with Big Brother!" he gushed on leaving the diary room.

"I cut a ribbon and everything!"

But Anthony will no doubt be hoping to avoid too much brotherly love this evening after housemates speculated about his sexuality.

Makosi told him Derek had been telling housemates Anthony was gay.

Confronting Derek in the garden, Anthony fumed: "Derek, it's come to my attention that you think I'm gay."

"Do you think I'm gay?" he demanded.

"I don't think so now, not today anyway." Derek replied, before suggesting that sometimes people who could be gay dont know they are.

"Lots of people need help in coming to terms with their sexuality," said Derek with a rye smile.

"I don't need help," Anthony insisted, following an earlier attempt to prove his manliness with a furious set of press-ups.
