Anthea Turner has reportedly kicked out her husband Grant Bovey after discovering an affair between the 50-year-old property developer and a 24-year-old woman. 

 

The television presenter learned about the affair when a friend told her that Bovey was seen kissing a young woman in a London restaurant last week. 

 

The reported affair occurred while Turner was in Canada filming a TV show there. Three years ago, Grant declared bankruptcy and it has been up to Turner to keep the family unit afloat.

 

Bovey, who has left the couple’s £5 million home in Esher, Surrey, admitted that he and the younger woman was friends but denied that they were having an affair. An insider says that Bovey’s statement was: "You went off to Canada, I met this girl, but she’s just a friend."

 

Anthea, however, did not believe this as her ‘trusted’ source had told her that Grant and the woman looked more than friends. The source continued: “Someone saw them kissing in a restaurant. Anthea is heartbroken. She is not taking phone calls because she can’t help breaking down in tears.”

 

Bovey is reportedly staying at a hotel in London at the moment. Anthea is being comforted by her three stepdaughters Lily, Amelia, and Claudia. 

 

This turn of events is a bitter round of déjà vu for Anthea. In 1998, Grant left his first wife Della to be with Ms. Turner. The two eventually got married in 2000.
