Jennifer Aniston claims hair extensions have ruined her natural locks.
The 'Friends' actress - whose character Rachel's hairstyle became a worldwide fashion trend in the 90's - has admitted her golden locks have been a disaster for months.
The 37-year-old actress - who previously had a £5 million advertising deal as the face of cosmetics giant L'Oreal - says her crowning glory was ruined by extensions she had put in soon after the hit series came to an end in 2004.
She was quoted in Britain's Daily Mail newspaper as saying: "Nothing destroys your hair faster than extensions. It's taken a year and a half to grow my hair out.'
Extensions usually involve having real hair or fibre glued onto the natural strands, a process which has caused embarrassing temporary bald patches for several celebrities, reportedly including British actress Kate Beckinsale.
Other celebrity fake hair fans include Victoria Beckham, Keira Knightley and Christina Aguilera.
