Jennifer Aniston says she had to "tune out" all the "tough and nasty" headlines that have surrounded her since splitting from Brad Pitt.
The former 'Friends' beauty, who announced her separation from the actor in January, believes that ignoring the intense media scrutiny is the best way of dealing with it.
She told American TV show 'Access Hollywood': "There is always going to be the tough and the nasty. You just tune out to that."
The stunning actress also feels the public is supporting her through her pain and ordeal.
She added: "There has been so much love and support. It feels real good."
Since their split, rumours have been rife as to why the cause of the marriage break-up.
Some sources claimed Jennifer's reluctance to start a family caused the split, while others speculated that Brad had an affair with his 'Mr and Mrs Smith' co-star, Angelina Jolie - something both have always denied.
However, Jennifer, 36, says she is now happy concentrating on making the change from television to movie actress.
She revealed: "I feel like I have got one good foot in there, and we will see if they still want to have me back. I've just got to keep making good movies."
