Angelina Jolie has sold her £21million British mansion.

The stunning actress - who is expecting lover Brad Pitt's baby - has also reportedly asked architects to design a dream home in the US.

A source close to the 'Tomb Raider' star told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She wanted to sell the place because she and Brad have decided to bring up their family in America."

Angelina has previously said she wanted to raise her family in Britain.

The insider added: "It's all part of her saying goodbye to her single life, though she might not quit the UK entirely - the couple are thinking of buying a pied a terre in London, maybe near Madonna, to use while visiting Europe."

Brad - who recently became the legal guardian of Angelina's two adopted children, Maddox, four, and one-year-old Zahara - has already transformed his two bachelor pads into child-friendly homes.

The Hollywood hunk reportedly spent thousands of dollars making the houses safe.

A source said: "Angelina's delighted at how Brad has slipped into the role of doting dad so easily."
