Angelina Jolie, UNHCR Special Envoy, recently travelled to the Jordan-Syria border to meet Syrian refugees who had to fled their home country due to intensified conflict.
The Hollywood actress met a family who fled to Jordan with hundreds and thousands of countrymen.
She returned to the camp on December 06 to meet with the family she talked to before and to meet more refugees.
Because of intensified fighting, more and more Syrians are fleeing not just to Jordan but to neighboring countries as well.
Since the conflict began, registered Syrian refugees have increase by more than 200,000. More refugees are expected to register as their resources are depleted in the coming weeks or months.
Angelina, together with her partner Brad Pitt, has donated $50,000 to buy family tents for refugees.
