Peter Andre has been given his own reality TV show in the wake of the collapse of his married to Jordan, also known as Katie Price.

Andre filmed a one-off documentary for ITV2 called 'Going It Alone' which exposes the motives behind the celebrity couple's split, which airs on Monday August 17.

TV bosses were so impressed that they commissioned a whole series, reports The Sun.

The new show is entitled 'Peter Andre: The Next Chapter' and will be launched at the start of October for a six-week run.

Andre's new show will see him trying to relaunch his flagging music career and set up a single parent home.

His latest single, 'Behind Closed Doors' peaked at No 4 in the UK chart.
