(BANG) - Pamela Anderson loves being an internet sex symbol.

The former 'Baywatch' star can be viewed naked or semi-clad on thousands of websites, but she insists she enjoys being the sexual fantasy of so many men.

She said: "I don't mind sexy pictures of me being on sites. I think people know I'm a free spirit and like to have fun."

However, Pammie didn't always enjoy being the centre of attention on the internet.

The blonde bombshell, who is married to US musician Kid Rock, was horrified when a homemade sex tape of her and ex-husband Tommy Lee on their honeymoon was leaked onto the web.

In the footage Pammie and Tommy are seen engaging in several sexual acts. The actress also performs a sexy striptease for her spouse.

Although she desperately tried to have the tape removed from the internet, the star eventually accepted there was nothing she could do about the leaked footage.

Pammie explained to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette: "I can't control the internet, and believe me I've tried. I have had a love-hate relationship with the internet. I said I wanted nothing to do with it. But again, you have to have some dignity and grace about yourself and keep going. If those people want to go off and find those pictures or that kind of video, they have to live with it."
