Ben Woolf, the actor best known for his appearances on American Horror Story, has died after suffering a head injury. The 34-year-old, who stands 4ft 4in was hit in the head by the mirror of an SUV while crossing a road in Hollywood.
Woolf, who was born with pituitary dwarfism, was a preschool teacher and an actor.
“We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben. He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work,” Woolf's family said in a statement.
Fans and colleagues immediately paid tribute via Twitter following the news.
Ryan Murphy, the show creator, described the actor as “one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met.”
