Dr Jonathan Reed, who claimed to have stumbled across an alien and its UFO in 1996, maintains that his story was true. It was since branded one of the most far-fetched alien discovery hoaxes on record.
Mr Reed said that the bizarre encounter took place while he was walking his dog in October 1996 in the Cascade Mountains in Washington, USA. He added that the malevolent creature vapourised his dog with a weapon.
Mr Reed then taken a log from a tree, using it to incapacitate the alien being, which he said he brought to his home. He then videod himself investigating the being, which was the beginning to stir on the floor of his home. He then claimed that the creature escaped after he stored it in the freezer.
Mr Reed added that he was then harassed by government agents, the so-called men in black, and he was forced to live underground.
One sceptic said that the story was just simply too far from reality. He wrote on hollow.com "So this event has very little middle ground. You either find this ridiculously fake or you feel this is the closest thing to contact we have ever had.
"Neither is wrong, but the debate continues decades after the event happened.
"I personally can’t buy a word of it. I have a healthy skepticism, so unless it’s proof I can’t rip apart, I’m not buying it.
