Oscar nominated actor Alec Baldwin cried while he was testifying against aspiring Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin who is being charged for stalking him and his wife.
The 30 Rock star said that Sabourin made an unannounced visit to his home in East Hampton, New York and ruined his engagement day to Hilaria Baldwin. He also said that the woman was “dangerous.”
Sabourin, who is charged with 24 counts of harassment and stalking, is facing up to a year in prison if convicted. She alleged that she and Baldwin had romantic relationship, which lasted for a year, which the actor denies.
Baldwin said in his complaint that Sabourin sent him dozens of emails claiming that she wanted to start her new life as his wife.
Despite the actor’s refusal and after telling her to stop, Sabourin allegedly appeared at his New York apartment and at a public event in the city.
While testifying, she repeatedly interrupted him and at one point, she said "You're going to hell. You're lying” to Hilaria.
Meanwhile, Hilaria said that the Montreal actress relentlessly harassed her on Twitter, even during her pregnancy. She added: "It feels like there's nothing we can do to make this stop. I am terrified of her."
