A-ha are reforming 30 years after the release of their standout track Take on Me. Keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy split five years ago but are now set to tour together for two years.
Their 10th studio album, “Cast in Steel”, will be released on Friday and they are scheduled to perform at the Rock in Rio festival this month followed by a European tour.
Morten who obviously has amazing genes told Reuters: "One of the good things about being away is to digest things and maybe learn from things and see if there are better ways to get to where you want to be."
When asked about the popularity of Take on Me, he said: "For us you have to make peace with that song because it's stronger than you in a way. It's not going away.
"We played it to death ... but the public don't get sick of it somehow."
