Christina Aguilera has reportedly splashed out £25,000 on a painting depicting late British monarch Queen Victoria as a lesbian.
The pop babe is said to have been taken by the controversial art work, created by British graffiti artist Banksy, and decided she wanted it for her home.
The painting shows Victoria - who famously believed women were incapable of being gay when passing anti-homosexual laws during her reign in the late 19th Century - dressed in stockings and suspenders sat on another woman's lap.
A friend of the singer said: "She's a huge fan on Bansky's work."
Meanwhile, Aguilera has claimed making her latest album was the same as being pregnant - twice.
The sexy singer recently put the finishing touches to latest offering 'Back To Basics' and admits recording it felt like she was bringing a new life into the world.
She said: "I feel like I've been pregnant for 18 months - it's been tough."
Aguilera has also revealed the album - the follow-up to 2002's hugely successful 'Stripped' - is heavily influenced by early jazz, as well as her favourite pop and soul records from her childhood.
