Ben Affleck has married pregnant girlfriend Jennifer Garner in a secret Caribbean beach ceremony.

The smitten Hollywood couple, who first met on the set of the movie 'Daredevil', tied the knot at sunset on Wednesday (29.06.05) on the Turks and Caicos islands.

The newlyweds' publicists issued a statement confirming: "They're married and expecting their first child."

Following the low key wedding, which was attended by family and close friends, Ben and Jennifer spent their wedding night in a £1,000-a-night beachside villa on the tropical island of Parrot Cay.

The couple got engaged in April but tried to keep their wedding plans secret because Ben did not want a re-run of the media frenzy that surrounded his doomed engagement to Jennifer Lopez.

Shortly after he started dating Garner, Ben said: "I'm certainly not going to talk about who I am or am not dating. I speak on behalf of a beleaguered America: This is enough."

The sexy pair first sparked rumours of romance in August last year when Ben visited Jennifer - who had just broken up from her 'Alias' co-star Michael Vartan - on the Canadian set of her movie, 'Elektra'

Jennifer was previously wed to actor Scott Foley. They divorced in March 2004 after four years of marriage.
