In the wake of the terror attacks in Paris, France has taken aggressive move to ensure the safety of its citizens. Nearly 5,000 police officers have been deployed to protect Jewish schools while thousands of troops, which will be deployed starting Tuesday, will guard other sensitive sites.
The move comes as Prime Minister Manuel Valls said that there is no doubt that the three gunmen who killed 17 people in the city capital had an accomplice. He also vowed to continue the hunt.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the previously besieged Kosher supermarket to pay tributes to the victims. Among the casualties were three police officers. They will be honoured via a ceremony on Tuesday. One of them, Clarissa Jean-Philippe, is said to be posthumously given the Legion of Honour, France’s highest decoration.
