Dolphin Dives On Boat

A dolphin has landed onto a boat breaking a woman’s ankle.

A dolphin landed onto a boat where couple, Chrissie Frickman and her husband Dirk were celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary together with their two children.  A pod of dolphins swam alongside them but one of the animals landed on top of Mrs Frickman, breaking her ankle. 

 

Mr Dirkman told the Orange County Register: "It hit my wife and knocked her over, and punched my daughter.

 

"I had this 350lb dolphin in my boat. There was no way to get it off."

 

The dolphin was removed with the help of two workers and it was released back to the ocean. Despite cuts to its nose and tail, the dolphin was not seriously injured. 

 

Meanwhile, Mrs Frickman had to undergo a five-hour surgery to treat her broken ankle.
