With many people talking about which gender the royal baby will be, and what name Kate and Wills will name their first-born, attention has also turned to when the royal baby will be here.
During a trip to Cornwall with husband Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, said she hopes the royal baby is born by the end of the week.
An ITV camera captured her saying: “We don't know what's going to happen. We're all waiting at the end of a telephone.
“I hope by the end of the week he or she will be there.”
Prince Charles and Camilla’s visit to Cornwall is part of their yearly trip to Devon and Cornwall.
Many people from the media have been based outside of Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, London, which is where Kate is expected to have her baby, in order to find out details when the royal baby is born.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby will be third in line to the throne.
